Archangel Raphael
One of the Angels of the Christian religion, Archangel Raphael, is referred to as the Angel sent by God to heal people from diseases. For this his name means "The Lord Heals." It is mentioned in the book "Tobit" of the Bible of the contribution of Archangel Raphael to Tobit, the son of the elderly Tobias, during his long journey to Ragi of Medea, where Archangel Raphael helped him return back to his father safely. Archangel Raphael is considered one of the seven angels of the Apocalypse, where he offers the prayers of the people to the throne of God. For the faithful Orthodox, Archangel Raphael is the protector of the patients, the one who helps in their treatment.
